As summer says goodbye and autumn kicks in, the London weather in September remains to be warm. London is never behind in celebrating life. The month of September is filled with some spectacular events and exciting activities and many of which are free to attend.
UK’s biggest art book event is happening this month. The Whitechapel Gallery will be celebrating the best of best international publishing in all categories and the latest editions. The British Museum will be holding an exhibition, ’50 Years that Changed China’, showing some of the world’s most stunning objects with loans from 20 collections across the world explaining China’s journey as a country.
Something new going on in the city this year. Totally Thames will be celebrating a thirty days river based event from Falmouth to Royal Greenwich Tall Ships Festival where art and music will illuminate the atmosphere. The annual ten days Mayor’s Thames Festival will be replaced by Totally Thames event this year. The series of festivals also include the Great River Race where thousands of spectators gather to cheer the participants.
