Planning the best days of the year? Holidays are about exploring places, cultures, history and so much. But sometimes holidays can stress us out. So we’ll suggest you to keep them simple and try to have as much fun as you can!
Samuel Johnson says, ‘When a man is tired of London, he is tired of lie; for there is in London all that life can afford.’ Do you agree with him? We do too! But the question here is, if London has everything to offer, how can one make the perfect choice? Hmmm… No need to worry about that because we have saved you a little time and hand-picked few places & events never to miss while in London.
Southbank Centre is the hub of entertainment located in the district of Central London. You can easily get there from Edgware Road by taking the Bakerloo Line to Baker Street and changing to Jubilee Line directly to Waterloo which is the nearest Tube Station. There are events lined up almost every day of the year. Not forgetting the view of River Thames, London Eye, Westminster to name a few. Check out their website and book your tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.
For a scenic alternative, visit River Thames overlooking Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. The Royal Parks of London Hyde Park, Regents Park are places worth considering.
Little Venice is the hidden gem near Edgware Road tube station where commercial London meets a peaceful spot. Not far from there is the Regents Canal packed with flower adorned house boats taking you through the Paddington Basin to the craziest place of London, Camden Town. This place needs a whole day to be explored. You’ll see how diverse and creative London is by taking a stroll through the Camden Markets, shops and food stalls. Whether your wallet is full or empty fun and entertainment is guaranteed in both cases.
