London Easter – What’s on?
4:10 pm - December 1, 2014
Easter is not just for kids, there are some ‘egg-cellent’ activities going on for all ages in the capital.
Easter treats us to a whole four days of holiday from Friday April 3 – Monday April 6 in 2015. Egg paint and other colourful activities are on at different venue around London and guess what? – Most of them are free!
Ever wondered why eggs? – Well there is a huge philosophy behind it as eggs are considered to be a sign of life or rebirth. So one aspect of Easter indicates the beginning of a new life.
London transport is reduced and most of the shops are closed on Easter Sunday. Londoners enjoy the spirit at homes and restaurants. Receiving Easter Baskets is an important part of the event and of course some people would attend church on this occasion.
