Frieze Art Fair 2014

London organises the Frieze Art Fair once in a year in October from 16th to 18th. It is celebrated for 3 days and it invites all the local and foreigners to have a taste of contemporary Art.

The Frieze Art Fair is ideally held at Regents Park, one of the most beautiful and popular parks of London. The serene ambiance takes your breath away as nature laughs through flowers and waterfalls in this park. No doubt it is one of the most famous sights for tourist attractions.

The very first Frieze Art Fair was also celebrated at Regents Park in 2003. It was a very successful event showing 120 Art galleries. Since then people’s interest hasn’t decreased, in fact it has boosted making this event one of the most awaited events of the year.

The Frieze Art Fair London is celebrated with zeal and zest presenting short films, various talk shows and exciting activities with above 160 art galleries. This Art fair displays the talent of many artists. This is the event to attend for people who admire contemporary Art. As summer says goodbye and autumn kicks in, the London weather in September remains to be warm. London is never behind in celebrating life. The month of September is filled with some spectacular events and exciting activities and many of which are free to attend.

UK’s biggest art book event is happening this month. The Whitechapel Gallery will be celebrating the best of best international publishing in all categories and the latest editions.  The British Museum will be holding an exhibition, ’50 Years that Changed China’, showing some of the world’s most stunning objects with loans from 20 collections across the world explaining China’s journey as a country.

Something new going on in the city this year. Totally Thames will be celebrating a thirty days river based event from Falmouth to Royal Greenwich Tall Ships Festival where art and music will illuminate the atmosphere. The annual ten days Mayor’s Thames Festival will be replaced by Totally Thames event this year. The series of festivals also include the Great River Race where thousands of spectators gather to cheer the participants.
