10:12 am - August 8, 2014
31st of October is not far away when Londoners will be showing their creativity with the scariest costumes on Halloween night. Some people start preparing for Halloween almost a year before. The most famous costumes include witchcrafts, wizards, skeletons, vampires, ghosts/spirits, characters of horror movies and other scary figures. The very common symbols of this night are carved Pumpkins, bats, black cats and spiders. The lights or candles are also put inside the carved pumpkins to make them scarier.
The streets of London are lighten up and people go out to celebrate spooky events in clubs, streets and various venues that arrange Halloween parties. Blood, guts and ghost stories are a part of the theme. London Dungeon, Hampton Court Palace and the Tour of London are few scariest places to visit. The ghost bus tours can be a great source of entertainments to lighten up the festive mood!
The transport system gets very busy. To avoid the hustle and bustle some people organise theme parties at home & indulge in all sorts of activities including watching the most horror movies and playing pranks in between. Children have a frightfully good time too. They dress up in scary and funny figures, go house to house asking for candy and they know what to do if they don’t get any! London has a bunch of events lined up exclusively for kids this Halloween.
Hence, there’s something scary and spooky to do for all ages in the capital this Halloween. It is the scariest and the most fun night in London.
